Space Goat's international Comic Art Talent Search comes to Los Angeles. Space Goat is the comic industry's premier talent agency and production studio, whose clients get jobs at Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, IDW, BOOM! Studios, and other top-quality publishers. Space Goat wants to see professional quality comic book story pages in pencil, pencil & ink or color. They are not interested in a portfolio full of pin-up art. Space Goat wants to see professionals and talented artists ready to be professionals.

Vince Hernandez (VP/editor-in-chief) will critique artwork and offer advice on building a portfolio (artist samples only).

Whilce Portacio (Image founder) will offer thoughtful tips and critiques for artists looking to break into the comic book industry. Bring your portfolio for an hour of guidance from the Bishop creator and a master of the medium!

Veteran Art Directors Guild storyboard artist Tim Burgard (The Revenant, Jurassic World, Independence Day: Resurgence) will review portfolios.
