At Ansullivar Dragonar Academy, Ash Blake is considered a nuisance and problem child by his fellow students. Ash has the sacred star brand, marking him as a future master of dragons, but he still lacks a dragon companion. Also his hot temper makes it somewhat difficult for him to play the part of the hero. When his dragon finally awakens, he's partnered with a fierce, fire-breathing, cute girl, whose human form isn't the only surprise-she's also determined to be Ash's master.
