Finding Your Inner Superhero: How Pop Culture Media Brings Justice and Healing
Can caped crusaders inspire you to find your inner courage? The Pop Culture Hero Coalition presents a powerful discussion about real-life heroism with a spotlight on Paul Dini and his powerful, soon to be released autobiographical graphic novel Dark Night: A True Batman Story (Vertigo, June 2016). Dini (Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond) will be joined by experts in psychology, education, and human rights activism. The panel will explore topics such as bullying, online harassment, hate crimes, and other interpersonal adversities. TNT's The Last Ship: A First Look at Season 3
The Last Ship returns to WonderCon for a first look at the upcoming season and a panel with producers and cast including Adam Baldwin, Bridget Regan, Travis Van Winkle, Marissa Neitling and Jocko Sims. Following the epic season two cliffhanger, the highly anticipated third season finds the crew of the Nathan James shifting their attention to Asia after President Michener hears rumblings that the Chinese leader, President Peng, has been hoarding the "Scott cure" instead of distributing it to the people in the region. Michener sends Chandler to a global summit to investigate this allegation, as well as rumors of a possible mutation of the original virus that has caused a fresh outbreak in Japan. If the mutation has occurred, and Asia has not been protected, the consequences for the world are dire. This panel seeks to bring this debate out into the open, to discuss how the rules of fandom have changed and what creators and fans can do to make the fan/creator interaction positive and enriching.

Hollywood Science Fiction Museum and Horror Museum
Founder Huston Huddleston has compiled some of the greatest names in sci-fi and horror to create the 2016 traveling exhibit, and 2018 permanent location for the Hollywood Science Fiction Museum and Hollywood Horror Museum. What began as restoring the Star Trek Enterprise Bridge set has expanded into what will be the world's largest nonprofit educational museums for both genres. Board members include Ronald D.
